With so many things going on this year, we know we need to send out an update. In brief, we're growing, we have a wash on the other side of the pond, we're excited for the upcoming tradeshows, and a sneak peak in to the backend of Petit manufacturing. Car Wash Feature: Wash Now

Meet Arian Ivic from Shrewsbury UK. Arian is not just the first person to own a Petit machine in the UK, but is also our first service provider and installer in the area! Arian and his team took a trip out to our humble new facility in Akron Ohio for training and planning. He is hitting the ground running in Europe and we appreciate his commitment and hard work. His wash, which has now been open for just a few weeks, is doing well and customers are very happy. Check out his website and a local article written about him and his new wash below. SOUTHWEST CAR WASH ASSOCIATION EXPO

Petit will be hosting a booth this year at the Southwest Car Wash Association's Convention and Expo (referred to as SCWA in the car wash community). HEIGHT
Most people in the industry know that we have the tallest standard machine in the business at 8’ (2.4m) tall. Some know that we have a no-charge optional machine at 8’4” (2.5m). Have you heard about our 9’10” (3m) machine? Stay tuned ;)

LEAD TIMES

Now that we’re settling into our new facility, production capabilities have increased. We are now able to keep up with demand and produce MORE machines, while still keeping our 8-12 week lead time with emergency slots available for those who are down due to catastrophic damage claims and issues of that nature.

Clean, but not Squeaky

We like to give our patrons a peak behind the veil. People who know us well know that we’re fairly fanatic about anything and everything continual improvement. One way we strive to keep the quality in all manners high is through cleanliness. Once a quarter we remove the bins from the shelves, clean the shelves, remove the parts from the bins, clean the bins and parts, and put them back in their original spot. Studies have shown that these practices not only improve worker health and safety, but also improve productivity and worker’s mood and pride in their work. We don’t claim to be a perfect company, but we do admit always striving for excellence every chance we get.

Did you know?

We’ve been following some of the new AI developments pretty closely — what an amazing time to be alive! One of the most interesting AI projects right now is chat GPT, a platform that’s getting a lot of attention in regards to how well it can write. You can ask it questions, have it write an essay for you, or even just have conversations. 

When Chat GPT is asked tough car wash questions, though, it calls Tom Petit’s private phone number for answers. Sometimes you have to get ahold of the experts…
